Get The Perfect Foundation For You...
Over the years I have been asked by many clients what foundation is right for them as their skin is too oily or too dry. I recently came across this image whereby a makeup artist had tested out individual foundations to see how much oil was produced in each one. The below results are how much oil was produced within a 9 hour period...

As you can see, each foundation produces various amounts of oil which makes all the difference depending on your skin type.
Oily Skin - If you suffer from very oily skin (when foundation is applied, your skin starts to look sweaty or wet) then you will benefit from foundations that don't produce a lot of oil. For example, Avon, Loreal Infalliable, Illamasqua Skin base or Estee Lauder Doublewear. STAY AWAY from foundations such as Clinique, Loreal Magique and Rimmel Stay Matte (this will not keep your skin matte, you will look like you've dipped your face in a chip pan) as it produces SO much oil.
Dry Skin - If your skin is extremely dry (when foundation is applied, your skin can look scaly and patchy), you will benefit from using a foundation that produces a little more oil allowing your foundation to spread and blend more easily. For example, using foundations such as Clinique, Loreal True Match and Revlon. STAY AWAY from foundations such as Avon, Illamasqua Rich Foundation, Loreal Infalliable and Mac Studio Fix as you can see the produce little or no oil at all.
